RCI SUCKS! On our first reservation we tried to do a simple hotel booking through them and they royally screwed it up. We had requested a 2 bedroom suite in Peoria, Arizona at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites. On the site it said 2 bedroom with 1 king but did not mention what the other rooms bed configuration was. We weren't sure if that meant 1 king in each room or 1 king total so we called RCI to confirm. The agent said yes but to make sure she would do a three way call directly to the hotel to confirm. The hotel confirmed the room... Read more

They keep calling me saying they have something to do with southwest airlines. Every time I tell them I am not interested and hang up. However, this time I told them I want interested and the girl just started saying F$%# you F$%# you F$%# you over and over again. Great business model. I am a real estate broker in the Las Vegas area an cant imagine treating a prospect this way. Next time they call I am turning them in "my phone # is on the DNC list" Real Estate Broker Las Vegas Read more

DO NOT EVER BUY A TIMESHARE. AND IF YOU DO, DO NOT JOIN RCI. ONCE YOU JOIN RCI THEY THINK THEY OWN YOUR TIMESHARE. THESE PEOPLE CHARGE YOU A FEE TO BOOK YOUR RESORT, WHICH YOU OWN. THEN THEY CHARGE YOU A EXCHANGE FEE IF YOU WANT TO GO TO A DIFFERENT RESORT. AND WHEN YOU TALK TO A REP. FROM RCI THEY REALLY THINK THAT THEY OWN YOUR TIMESHARE. DON'T EVER BUY A TIMESHARE ANY WHERE, IT IS NOT WORTH IT Read more

Did not get what I paid for. I will not use again. Add comment

Trying to find an RCI timeshare for a trip to the Traverse City area in Michigan. RCI told me that they don't have ANY in all of Michigan for the late July-early August period. Yet, when I go to the VRBO site, I can find a list of 81 available, just in the Bellaire section of the Traverse City area alone! What is going on here? When I was visiting the area last summer, I could tell that there were plenty of unused units. Are people bailing out of the RCI system and just using VRBO instead? Has anyone seen any articles about what is... Read more

Awful sales representative. She was racist, insulting and spoke poor english. Not only that, but "Lana" (Svetlana) was a terrible salesperson who not only looked sloppy, but was unprofessional in her sales tactics. She needs to be fired. Add comment

Following my July 2015 stay at the Worldmark facility in LasVegas and allowing myself to be convinced to upgrade my timeshare I have not received assistance in clarifying some details of the transaction. The Representive who assisted me now ignores my calls and have recently blocked me from emailing her. I now feel that the information given was all a front to get me to purchase more units. Also you can never get reservations when desired and have to go on a wait list that may or may not happen. Worldmark only reserves a small amount for... Read more

I am an RCI Platinum member which is pretty pricey, around $160 a year. Yet when you log in to their site unless you already banked your week the search availability function appears to run but misleads you and says "no availability". I confirmed this with their customer support. For $160 a year I want to see that the resort I want has availability before I bank my week. You used to be able to do this, but they have changed their web site to not show availability. It's a scam to make you bank your week whether you can get the resort you want... Read more

I too was scammed by RCI Travel Package which offered a 7 day cruise package. Everything was supposedly included. After paying nearly a year of $199 a month totalling approx. $2,000 plus, when I finally was told I had to book the cruise or lose all my money, an additional $2,000 plus in FEES was tacked on. Supposedly for taxes, port fees and misc. charges and insurance. This does not even include the airfare to Seattle which most likely would be over $800 plus per person. My advice: I was ***. You should steer clear of anything RCI offers! A... Read more
