We attended a sales presentation for the Grandview in Las Vegas.

Our sales representative took us for the promised buffet meal, was pleasant and personable.

However, once we declined to buy without doing our own research on the company, the representative's demeanor became cooly distant with a slant on rudeness.

The supervisor stepped up the sales pressure. At first he had a sunny disposition and pitch, when he could not persuade us to buy, right then and there, he too switched his demeanor.

Glad we did not agree to buy, these two represented to us how future member problems would be handled. Nice till they get or don't get your money.

We are both college graduates. We definitely were lead to believe that RCI owned the properties. Not so upon our research. They appear to be a broker. 39K for a piece of paper "soft title". We were told we would own land? "Bulldozers next door, ready to build". Last offer to us was to charge us $150.00 to give us 5 days to do the research. Something didn't seem right. $0.00 spent. FYI: Limo pick-up. Bus drop off and walk if you refuse offers. Buffet was good.

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

All Grand View of Las Vegas owners are given a complementary RCI membership. The owner is responsible for RCI upgrades and renewals

The Review was good. How did RCI got involved?.

I haven't read anything concerning RCI or this review is just overrated. I am an RCI Member too.

I was at the Serelago hotel near Orlando FL. and at the main lobby they had a guy telling us we could save a lot of money on Disney admission if we would hear these people out for 2 hours.the breakfast buffet was to be @ 8:15 am we went to the place where we thought the food was going to be and i it was a registration room we were finally driven to the buffet and got there at around 9am.

after that we were driven to the presentation 9:50 am. when i told the man that the presentation was dragging over the 2 hour mark and we were promised we would be at disney be 11 am he got very defensive and told us we had to stay till he was done or we would not get the discount . they said there would be no pressure but they were pushy and when we told them we need to think about it they made us wait for a shuttle to return to our car.

we felt cheated out of our precious time! i hope this helps some one.

the same thing happen to us just now... glad we didn't get the offer...

funny thing is the presenter and the so called manager wanted us to pay for a property that we didn't even saw, a property that we will never own, it's just a timeshare with so many technicalities and hidden charges, they kept on repeating the statement that we will get discounts on hotel rates etc... there's no actual product here... im just sad coz i think the couple next to us got the offer... i hope they will stop this...

it's just like stealing hard earned money of a person who only wants to please his or her family... shame on you people...

Hi, it sounds like there might be some confusion surrounding your experience and how RCI was involved. There is sometimes a misunderstanding about RCIโ€™s role in the timeshare industry.

We do not sell timeshare or own or operate any timeshare properties. Instead, we provide exchange services to timeshare owners at our affiliated resorts.

If you have questions, please email us at talktous@***.com.

Thanks,
