I purchased a trip to Cancun through RCI. My work situation changed, so that I could no longer go at the scheduled time.
I called 6 weeks prior to departure to reschedule the trip. The RCI phone messages I heard were to call back at another time, the person I was trying to reach was not available, etc. I finally reached a live person today, and he told me I missed my 30-day change window. Therefore, I would be charged $500 for cancelling my trip.
Lovely customer service, not being available when I called, and then to charge me for not going at all ... The bottom line is: I won't travel with them ever!
