DO NOT BUY-IN TO RCI TIMESHARE!WE MADE THAT MISTAKE IN JUNE OF 2004 AND HAVE WASTED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON MAINTENANCE FEES, TAXES AND RCI CHARGES AND RARELY GET TO GO ANYWHERE.THIS TIMESHARE PROMISES THE WORLD (LITERALLY) BUT IS NEVER ABLE TO DELIVER.

I HAVE PAID UP TO THREE YEARS IN ADVANCE TRYING TO GET TO GO TO PLACES BUT THEY NEVER HAVE ANYTHING AVAILABLE.

THEY LIE AND CHEAT PEOPLE WHO TRUST AND BELIEVE WHAT THEY TELL YOU TO GET YOU TO SIGN UP.I AM WARNING ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING A TIMESHARE NOT TO DO IT.

We purchased our timeshare and received a deed that would exchange for a 2 bedroom - we quickly found that not only were we lied to about being able to book it anywhere in the world because everything was filled or the Gold Crown resorts looked terrible at best but that we could only get a 1 bdrm at most resorts.

Then they changed to the point system and we were told that we would have to cough up an additional 11K to play in their NEW system.We have booked our week and then cancelled and now find out that they have a NEW policy that allows them to keep our deposit.

We went to our resort and were horrified at the lack of maintenance and the utter disrepair and yet we pay maintenance fees that are obviously going into someones pocket, as it sure isnt the resort!

BEWARE of this unregulated, Lying, Cheating, Thieving industry as they will find every chance and option to *** at every turn and check the Web as we are not the only ones being !!!!We are looking into a CLASS ACTION SUIT!!!!

Hi Wintergirl13, as mentioned, we are not involved with the sale of timeshare and do not own or operate any timeshare resorts. We only provide a magazine subscription, exchange and other related services to timeshare owners. The fees you have paid to purchase your timeshare and for maintenance were not paid to RCI.

Don't be sorry, just take your timeshare back. I will GIVE it to you for FREE after paying $14,000.00 for it in 2009. What say you RCI Customer "Care".

It isn't RCIs timeshare.RCI doesnt OWN any resorts.

RCI didn't collect your 14,000 dollars.

The resort did.If your going to be pissed about something at least be pissed at the right people.

Hi there. Sometimes there's confusion around the part that RCI plays in the timeshare industry. Our role is to provide exchange services to vacation owners at timeshare properties. This exchange service is designed to offer flexibility and choice to timeshare owners who opt to become RCI subscribing members. We actually don’t own or operate any timeshare resorts and we don’t sell timeshare or control the sales practices of the resorts. The maintenance fees that you pay go directly to your resort, not to RCI.
